Required disclosure under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)
The short version: I do not sell your personal information to data brokers or third parties for money. However, under California law, sharing data with advertising platforms (Google, Meta, Microsoft) for targeted advertising may qualify as "sharing" personal information. You can opt out of that below.
Your Rights as a California Resident
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected about you and how it is used
- Delete personal information collected about you (with some exceptions)
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Limit use of sensitive personal information
- Non-discrimination — I will not treat you differently for exercising these rights
What "Sharing" Means in This Context
I do not sell personal information for money. However, California law broadly defines "sharing" to include disclosing data to advertising platforms like Google, Meta, and Microsoft for cross-context behavioral advertising — even without payment. When you visit this site, those platforms' pixels may collect your IP address and browsing behavior to enable retargeting ads. This may qualify as "sharing" under CCPA.
How to Opt Out
You have two ways to opt out:
Option 1 — Platform-level opt-outs (immediate effect):

- Meta/Facebook: facebook.com/ads/preferences
- Microsoft Advertising: Microsoft Personalized Ads page
